STATUS EFFECTS

Status effects are additional affects that affect a target when using certain elemental damage types.  All elemental damage can trigger these affects specific to the type of elemental damage used.  There are two types of status effects:  Damage Over Time and Direct Damage

DAMAGE OVER TIME

Burning.png

BURNING

FROM:  Flame damage

Burns the target over 4 seconds.

Hemorrhaging.png

HEMORRHAGING

FROM:  Bleed damage

The target bleeds over 4 seconds.  This stacks 3 times increasing in damage by 25% per stack.

Poisoned.png

POISONED

FROM:  Poison damage

Poisons the target over 4 seconds and acts as execute damage, scaling up to 100% increased damage.

DIRECT DAMAGE

Chilled.png

CHILLED

FROM:  Frost damage

Single instance damage. 
Secondary Effect: 
 Afflicts Minor Maim for 4 seconds, reducing the targets damage done.  If equipped with a Frost Staff, this will also afflict the target with Minor Brittle, increasing the critical damage received.

Concussion.png

CONCUSSION

FROM:  Shock damage

Single instance damage.  Deals additional damage if the target was already concussed.  

Secondary Effect:  Afflicts Minor Vulnerability for 4 seconds increasing the targets damage taken.

Diseased.png

DISEASED

FROM:  Disease damage

Single instance damage that also deals diseased damage to all targets within 6 meters of the initial target.
Secondary Effect: 
Afflicts Minor Defile for 4 seconds, decreasing both healing received and health recovery.

Overcharged.png

OVERCHARGED

FROM:  Magic damage

Single instance damage that also restores 65 Magicka.

Secondary Effect:  Afflicts Minor Magickasteal for 4 seconds, restoring Magicka to players who attack the target.

Sundered.png

SUNDERED

FROM:  Physical damage

Single instance damage.

Secondary Effect:  Grants the attacker 100 Weapon and Spell damage for 4 seconds.
