ONE BAR MAGICKA SORCERER
PURPOSE
This is a one bar Magicka DPS build using cheap crafted and purchased gear with no monster set. It parses 50k+ with 2 buttons and has an optional back bar for simple AoE. You can either very simply learn the mechanics of DPS, light attack weaving, and animation canceling with this build as a new player, or improve your game play if you are struggling with dps rotations by stripping everything down to basics and building from a solid foundation!

Slotted for the passives of: Increased max magicka by 8% and Minor Resolve which increases physical and spell resistances by 1320. This button is not actually pressed.

This is a summoned pet slotted to give passive damage. When activated, it deals +53% more damage to enemies above 50% hp. You can use the other morph "Twilight Matriarch" for a self heal if you would like one.
Guild Ability
Mage's Guild
Slotted for the passives of: Increased max magicka by 5% and Minor Prophesy which increases spell critical by 2191. This ability is not actually pressed.
Destruction Staff
This is your main spammable in all situations both single target and AOE.
Crystal Fragments

Dark Magic
Casting any magicka ability has a chance to trigger an instant and empowered crystal fragment. Only use this when it is triggered for an instant cast. You can tell by the ability glowing on the screen.
Mages Guild
This is a great single target and aoe ultimate which stuns all enemies hit and returns 12 ultimate for every enemy hit. If you do not have this unlocked the Sorcerer ult "Greater Storm Attro" is a good alternative until you have access to it.
