MAGICKA TEMPLAR
PURPOSE
This is a very strong Magicka Templar PVE build that only uses a few buttons per bar and is capable of parsing around 112k DPS and 105k DPS with no trial gear with a simple rotation! This will be a perfect step to push yourself out of your comfort zone with bar swapping.

ABILITIES - FRONT BAR

Mages
This passively buffs you with more maximum magicka increasing your damage and Major Prophecy increasing your critical strike rating.

Restoring Light
This is a large ground based aoe that does more damage over time, increasing by 12% per damage tick.

Aedric Spear
This is your pain spammable. It does both single and aoe damage, heals you, and slows enemies.

Dawn's Wrath
This fires a beam of holy fire at the target over 1.8 seconds. It deals up to 500% more damage to enemies below 50% health. This is your execute.

Dawn's Wrath
This is a debuff that does a bit of initial damage, then copies damage and explodes for a burst of additional damage after 6 seconds. It also heals you and allies for 6 seconds after it expires.

Fighters
This is slotted only for the Fighter's Guild passive Slayer increasing your weapon and spell damage by 3%. You'll use the Comet ultimate from the back bar.
ABILITIES - BACK BAR

Mages
This passively buffs you with more maximum magicka increasing your damage and Major Prophecy increasing your critical strike rating.

Restoring Light
This is your back bar burst heal.

Two Handed
Charges at an enemy dealing damage to the target and leaving behind a ground aoe damaging all enemies inside.

Fighters
This is a trap you place at the enemies feet. It does damage over time to the enemy and also buffs you with Minor Force, increasing your Critical Damage by 10%. It also increases your weapon damage by 3% from the Fighter's Guild passive: Slayer

Restoring Light
This places a rune on the ground which greatly increases your resistances with the buff Major Resolve and enables you to recover 242 magicka every second. Standing inside the rune will also heal you over time.

Mages
This causes a comet to crash down on the enemy dealing damage to all enemies in the area, reduces their movement speed, and leaves behind aoe damage to the area for 11 seconds.
ROTATION
(Start on the Back Bar)
OPEN WITH: Potion, Barbed Trap, Stampede, Comet, Bar Swap.
ROTATION: Purifying Light, Ritual of Retribution, Puncturing Sweep x4.
From there continue the rotation of Purifying Light>Puncturing Sweep x5. Refresh Ritual of retribution as it expires on the front bar. Refresh Stampede and Barbed Trap at the same time from the back bar (or you can dynamically double bar swap to independently refresh each of them). Use Comet as it becomes available.
After 30-35% Replace Puncturing Sweep with Radiant Oppression.
After 10% only use Barbed Trap and Radiant Oppression.
NOTE: There is also a second modified and much easier skill set up and rotation shown at 10:19 in the Video Guide.
